Q: If there's something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call?
A: Jennifer Lawrence.
Ever since it was revealed that the next installment of Ghostbusters would feature an all-female team of titular spook stoppers, speculation has run rampant as to who will don the iconic jumpsuits.
In a new video from MTV UK, Lawrence admits to having had dinner with the film's director, Paul Feig. While she didn't confirm that Ghostbusters was among the projects they discussed, we think it's safe to assume that the subject was at least broached. The news comes just a day after Rebel Wilson revealed that she too met with Feig to talk specifically about Ghostbusters 3, so clearly the director is in full-on recruitment mode.

That said, we're not sure how much sense it makes for J Lawr to join the potential franchise. Especially considering she already has two career-consuming tentpoles (The Hunger Games and X-Men) under her belt. But, with Lawrence set to hang up the bow and arrow for good next year, perhaps she still has some desire to burn the box office to the ground between winning Oscars.
As for who might join her in a life of slime, according to the actors in the video below, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Emma Stone, and Amy Poehler seem to be the most popular candidates. (The Playlist)
