File under: We can't believe we missed this. In M.I.A.'s song "Y.A.L.A," from her last album Matangi, she drops five-time Oscar nominee Julianne Moore's name. It's just kind of hanging out there in the delicious word soup that is "Y.A.L.A."
The Huffington Post asked Julianne, who's nominated for another Oscar for her role in Still Alice (watch the trailer and you'll see why) about the shout-out when they spoke to her yesterday.
"Oh my God! I’m so flattered! I was like, 'M.I.A. just said my name!,'" Moore told The Huffington Post. "I was so flattered. Are you kidding? It made me feel like a part of popular culture."
Y.A.L.A., which stands for "you always live again," is one of M.I.A.'s more positive songs, and like almost everything she does, you can't stop dancing to it.
