Let's get this out of the way first: We're not exactly sure we love Lorelei Linklater's SAG Awards look. But, on a red carpet that thus far features a whole lot of pretty — in the slightly snoozy, lace-and-floral-gown way — this one definitely wins points for originality.
The 20-year-old Linklater, who plays the sardonic-yet-supportive big sister, Samantha, in Richard Linklater's Boyhood, wore a floor-length black gown by cult favorite NYC label Honor, accessorized with a Pamela Love Arrowhead ring. With exaggerated bell sleeves, lace trim, and a high neckline, it's a '70s-inflected, Holly Hobbie-esque look that wouldn't seem out of place next to the dresses Keira Knightley or Kristen Wiig wore to the Golden Globes.

Luckily, the lace back saves it from total sister-wife territory. Overall, it's sort of awesome how aggressively modest the whole thing is.
We also love that Linklater accessorized with a bright blue ponytail of epic proportions. Between her Boyhood character's flame-red dye job and the fuschia tips the actress sported at the Golden Globes, it's become something of a signature look. At the Golden Globes just weeks ago, Boyhood took home the award for Best Picture, Drama. Maybe the Crayola-colored hair will continue to bring good luck.
