Where Exactly To Buy U.K.’s Biggest Budget Brand In The U.S.

This July, we
first heard that the international retail invasion will continue with Primark,
a U.K.-based brand that promises super-low prices for high-street
fashion. Racked reports that the fast-fashion chain is about to land on U.S. soil through seven spaces leased from Sears in the Northeast — and we already know five of them.

While we're never not excited to welcome an affordable foreign brand stateside, this one brings particularly interesting possibilities. With the global recognition it already has, Primark could attract new and younger customers to the mall. These are the shoppers who are no longer devoted to brands like Wet Seal or Delia's, nor are they lured by the appeal of a conspicuous logo. And, its partnership with Sears  — which already houses collaborators like the Kardashian Kollection — will help Primark establish its presence in the American market.

Unlike COS’ and
& Other Stories’ recent NYC debuts, the first Primark
stores are targeting suburbia, rather than Manhattan. In the next year to year-and-a-half, they're set to open in Danbury Fair Mall in Connecticut; Freehold Raceway Mall in New Jersey; Willow Grove Park Mall in Pennsylvania; King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania; and Staten Island Mall in New York. Mall trip, anyone? (CoStar)
