Kanye West Will Show Again At Fashion Week

Despite all its hype, Kanye West failed to make much of a ripple in the fashion world when he debuted his runway collection in Paris back in 2012. But, with several brand collaborations under his belt (not to mention, a new family-man persona), West is back for another try at catwalk success — except this time, it's with adidas. A cryptic invite to a Kanye West for adidas launch event emerged on Instagram yesterday, hinting that the rapper will finally debut the buzzy shoes that sneakerheads have been dying for. Although the photo has since been deleted, Complex  has confirmed that West will indeed debut his latest collection for the sneaker brand during New York Fashion Week. The choice to model footwear on a runway might seem a bit extravagant given all the NYFW shakeups this season, but really, has Kanye ever been one for subtlety? No word yet on the model casting, what clothes they'll wear, or if the invite list includes one Ms. Anna Wintour, but we won't have to wait long to find out: It all goes down February 12.
