If they ever make a grade-school version of Working Girl, we've got the poster right here. Not surprisingly, it comes from the Lena Dunham childhood archives.
In 1993, the Girls creator was just another 7-year-old with a fondness for power suits and don't-eff-with-me scowls. We know this because yesterday Dunham shared one of the most epic #TBT photos to cross our Instagram feed. Behold, Baby Lena, future #Girlboss and prime candidate for the lead in a Cagney & Lacey-style detective show.
So good, right? The moody black and white portrait was shot by photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders. With any luck, some outtakes will surface for our collective enjoyment. Once a #Girlboss, always a #Girlboss.
