Here’s The Lego Version Of Fifty Shades You Didn’t Know You Needed

We're pretty close to reaching our Fifty Shades of Grey saturation point. Not a day goes by without the new release of some promo video, interview, or themed toy that ties into the mega-franchise. Nothing, however, is as satisfying as the Lego version of the trailer. You might ask what sort of person thinks recreating a kinky, Yoncé-esque trailer scene-for-scene with plastic bricks is a good use of their time. But, you should be asking what sort of person doesn't think recreating a kinky, Yoncé-esque trailer scene-for-scene with plastic bricks is a good use of their time — especially when the result is more believable than the actual version.  If you can get past Lego Christian Grey's resemblance to Tom Cruise, the video by stop-motion animators Antonio and Andrea Toscano's is pretty great. Or, as The Lego Movie would say — it's awesome. Though, we might be singing a different tune had the Toscanos taken the erotica to Team America heights. Thankfully, they kept it PG-13.
