Beyoncé & Ed Sheeran Make A Surprisingly Cute Duo At The Stevie Wonder Tribute

Let's hear it for all these older indie artists getting discovered because of the young, hot stars of the moment! Both Kanye West and Rihanna recently worked with this seemingly unknown guitar-player named Paul McCartney. Lady Gaga made an album with a dude named Tony Bennett, and Beyoncé sang some guy who goes by the name of Stevie Wonder’s songs. Who are all of these musicians?! I kid! I kid. (Though, Twitter, unfortunately, doesn't.) Anyway, CBS aired the Stevie Wonder tribute special "Songs in the Key of Life" last night. Unlike the Grammys, where Bey helped shut the place down, she got the people on their feet starting with a nearly 10-minute long medley. After finishing "Fingertips," B brought out Ed Sheeran for "Master Blaster (Jammin')." Gary Clark Jr. joined them later for "Higher Ground." Beyoncé commanded the audience to "stand up on your feet if you love Stevie Wonder," but let's be real: a chunk of the audience stood just because Beyoncé told them to. Hell, folks at home probably did, too. And, in that moment I swear we (including those uninformed Twitter users) began to understand Wonder of Stevie.
