Meet The Crazy New Menu Items At Starbucks

Starbucks has made a lot of exciting announcements lately, but this week it's like Oprah's Favorite Things: Coffee Edition. Look under your chair and you'll find a...Caramel Flan Latte! A home-delivery service! And — wait for it — a Tiramisu Laaaaaatteeeeeee. YOU get a Tiramisu Latte! And, YOU get a Tiramisu Latte! And, YOU get a Ford Explorer! No, no, wait, sorry. I got excited; you're not getting a Ford Explorer. But, the rest of it is all very real. The Caramel Flan Latte ("topped with caramel-infused whipped cream and caramel flan drizzle") is an old favorite that's just been revived. The company tested the Tiramisu Latte ("espresso with hints of creamy mascarpone") in select Midwestern cities last year, and it was such a hit, they've decided to launch the drink nationwide, according to the Chicago Tribune.  On top of the new additions, Starbucks announced a new subscription service, specifically for their Reserve line of small-lot coffee products. The Roastery Subscription service caters to serious coffee snobs high-end connossieurs who like their beans super-fresh and fancypants. Up until now, coffee fans could only drink this stuff at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room in Seattle. Now, you don't even need to put on pants. All the hullabaloo comes just days after the company added coconut milk to the menu as a nondairy option for all coffee drinks, and the lactose-free faction rejoiced en masse.  Look, we're not complaining about all this breaking coffee news. Give us all the coffee you got. But, where does it end, Starbucks? Platinum milk? The Baked Alaska Mocha? Will there be a Ford Explorer in our lattes one day? (Just saying, if you go with that one, remember who gave you the idea.)
