Oof, this Funny or Die clip is hitting a little too close to
home for residents of the chilly Northeast.
In this behind-the-scenes look at
the live-action adaptation of Frozen,
Bella Thorne and Mae Whitman have headed to the frigid Arctic Circle to get
their Disney princess on. For Thorne, who plays Anna, it's all warm and toasty;
after all, she's the heroine of this story! As for Whitman, she's left out in
the cold as Elsa, who is, after all, the person responsible for all this wintry
mess.
Thorne and Whitman's jokey video is a promo for their movie The DUFF, an adaptation of the popular
YA novel by Kody Keplinger. In case you're not hip to the lingo, DUFF stands
for Designated Ugly Fat Friend, so, you know, this is a make-believe world
where Whitman plays a gal in need of a makeover and she's somehow BFFs with
Thorne's mean queen bee.
The Duff is
currently in theaters.
