Lena Dunham has professed her love of Scandal many times in the past. She even appeared in a skit that parodied the show when she hosted SNL last year. We hope she's boned up on Olivia Pope-style fixing since that first go around (when her character couldn't quite hang with the rapid-fire pace at which things happen on the show), though, before she heads to Washington. That's right, it was just announced that Dunham is going to guest-star on Scandal.
Dunham once told Grantland that her desire to be a guest star on the show was her "life's great passion." "I want to be like, a senator to who did something wrong." It appears her wish has come true. According to Variety, "Dunham is set to appear in one episode in March, and may have some involvement with Pope & Associates." She may not be playing her exact dream role (senator of ill-repute), but we're sure Dunham is nonetheless thrilled to swill wine in white pantsuits with the remaining gladiators.
Consider Lena Dunham guest-starring on Scandal handled. (Variety)
