Tegan and Sara. Lonely Island. LEGO Oscars. Cowboys, cowgirls, astronauts, and break-dancing contruction workers. Everything really was awesome in the "Everything Is Awesome" number during last night's Oscars.
There's just one thing. Where was The LEGO Movie star Chris Pratt, and who was the guy in the Batman suit?
With regards to the former, we've got no clue. Pratt was at the Oscars, as was LEGO Superman Channing Tatum. Tatum was handed a LEGO Oscar, but that pretty much concluded his participation. Maybe his Magic Mike XXL contract prevents him from engaging in any non-stripping physical activity?
The answer to the latter question is Will Arnett, who voiced Bruce Wayne and Batman in the 2014 hit film. The comic actor appeared on stage alongside a drumming, Robin-costumed Questlove during the high-energy performance. Devo frontman Mark Mothersbaugh, who oversaw the music for the film, also made a cameo as a DJ.
The LEGO Movie's co-director, Chris Miller, revealed via Twitter that Arnett was wearing Val Kilmer's costume from Batman Forever. He hinted at another potential superstar cameo, but this one seems too good to be true.

I can neither confirm or deny the rumor it was Benedict Cumberbatch hidden inside the Awesome Possum costume. #Oscars #EverythingIsAwesome
