As much as some celebs (and their publicists) would like us to believe that they just lucked out with their gorgeousness, a whole lot of upkeep goes into being professionally good-looking. And, there's something fascinating about those instances when celebs pull back the curtain and show us exactly how they get their signature looks. Which is why, as much as we wanted to look away, we just couldn't stop reading the in-depth breakdown Jezebel did of Kim Kardashian's epic beauty routine, based on an interview she did with Into the Gloss. The whole kit and caboodle — including face creams, foundations, and mascara — comes out at a cool $1,977.75 (roughly the monthly rent for a studio apartment in NYC, FYI). And, that's just for the products that Kim mentions. The highest-ticket item, Guerlain's coveted Orchidée Impériale Rich Cream, will set you back about $455. Is that an insane amount to spend on one product? Depends on who you ask. As someone who has tried Guerlain's cream (a freebie, to be clear), I'd say that I'd spend the dough on the promise of baby skin if I had it to spare. To be fair, Kim also relies on Neutrogena cleansing towelettes that ring up at just under $2. So, she's an equal-opportunity spender.
