Miley Cyrus Colorblocks Like It’s A Party In The U.S.A.

We can't shake winter on the East Coast, but it feels a lot like summer over in California. Maybe that's why Miley Cyrus stepped out in Los Angeles in a look that's prime for recycling on July 4. Where oh where could Cyrus be going in her inadvertently patriotic ensemble? One would think an All-American barbecue, or a reshoot of what is possibly her greatest contribution to pop culture. But, no — the scene was actually one very familiar to the average twentysomething American: stocking up on Speculoos cookie butter at Trader Joe's. Miley hit up her local TJ's with her mom, Trish, colorblocking all the way. The singer kept her palette simple (and 1776-approved) and her silhouettes tailored: a cropped sweater (because that's what you wear in the L.A. winter) paired with long, wide-legged trousers. Silvery, Miu Miu platform oxfords offset Miley's clean hem and added extra sunshine factor. Rounding out the look was a gold Chanel necklace. We'll go so far as to say that this is a sartorial party in the U.S.A. Also, is it summer yet?
