Designer and all-around domestic diva Jenni Kayne had a big announcement to make this morning, and it's not what you'd expect.
The SoCal fashion fixture and Rip + Tan blogger has joined forces with Pottery Barn Kids for an exclusive capsule collection inspired by the mother-of-two's relaxed, timeless aesthetic. (Kayne's to-die-for family home was profiled in Architectural Digest.) The line features everything a tastemaking mommy might need, from furniture to bedding to wall art — the quilt, above, seems tailor-made for longtime D'orsay flats fan Jessica Alba's playful brood.
"I believe, as Pottery Barn Kids does, that having children doesn't mean sacrificing style," said Kayne. "I thought a lot about the types of things my kids would love to use and have in their rooms as we designed the collection, with an eye toward creating stylish, functional, beautifully made pieces that look great and really work in the home."
While this marks Kayne's first foray into children's home furnishings, we're keeping our fingers crossed that her decor collabos keep coming. If she and pal Athena Calderone joined forces? We die!
Jenni Kayne for Pottery Barn Kids will be available in stores and online in June 2015.
