We know you had your heart set on Monique Lhuillier. But, would you settle for a 3-D-printed wedding dress if it meant being at the forefront of technology?
Chinese company Xuberance is taking wedding wear to new heights with its 3-D know-how. Using 3-D printers, the brand is creating and selling bridal gowns made from fused nylon powders rather than lace or chiffon. According to the Daily Mail, each dress takes approximately one week to make. It's like haute couture, but nerdier.

As with couture, the advanced process can come with a hefty price tag. Ornate 3-D-printed headpieces retail for thousands of dollars on the company's website. Then again, the technology allows for a variety of embellishments, ruching, and lace-effect details on your bridal gown. This kind of glamour doesn't come cheap.
3-D wedding cakes are also on the horizon. At this rate, maybe brides can sort out everything in one fell swoop when they're having the invitations done. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something Kinko's?
