Rihanna's a DIY kinda gal. She's not just the star of the upcoming animated film Home, but she's contributing three songs to the soundtrack. And, that's when she's not working on her own new album. She just released two new songs from Home, so bust out your headphones and listen up.
The first, "As Real As You and Me," is a gorgeous ballad that RiRi absolutely slays. It will make you all verklempt, or your money back. Her second song, "Dancing in the Dark," is your more typical animated film song; it's just poppy enough to get the wee ones interested, and probably pretty tolerable for any nearby adults.
Rihanna released the first song for Home a few weeks ago, "Towards the Sun," and she's also either curating the soundtrack or she's created a "concept album" for the movie or something else entirely or all of the above. Who's to say, really?
Rihanna's also been doling out some great advice for young women during her press tour for Home. "I think women are way stronger than they know, or sometimes they do know, but they don't always feel like being strong. Sometimes, you're like, 'Can I get a pass?'" Can we get that on a T-shirt?
