Update: Mo'ne Davis, perhaps the most magnanimous young person on the planet, isn't holding any grudges against the baseball player who called her a "slut" on Twitter. TMZ Sports reports that 13-year-old Davis reached out to Bloomsburg University, asking that player Joey Casselberry be allowed back on the team, after he was dismissed for an offensive tweet. According to TMZ, the team hasn't changed its mind, saying that regardless of how Mo'ne feels, the tweet was a clear violation of its code of conduct.

Criticizing news that a Disney movie is in the works about the talented young super star, Casselberry took to Twitter, where he made reference to Davis’ loss to Nevada during the Little League World Series before slamming her with a simply unacceptable turn of phrase —especially when talking about a minor: Mo'ne may be talented beyond her years, but she is only 13.
Casselberry's Twitter account has since been deactivated, but as we all know, what goes up on the Internet does not ever truly come down.

The Pennsylvania based school announced on Twitter that it was "deeply saddened" by the tweet, and that the junior would be dismissed from the team.
