J.K. Rowling and Twitter are a match made in Harry Potter heaven. (Please review exhibits A and B.) Today, though, the author really outdid herself.
BuzzFeed reports a fan from London tweeted a question about Dumbledore's sexuality to Rowling. The fan wanted to know why she made Dumbledore gay. "I can't see him in that way," she wrote on Twitter.
Rowling had the perfect response.
.@anakocovic21 Maybe because gay people just look like... people?

This isn't the first time Rowling came to Dumbledore's defense. In September, the author dismissed a fan on Twitter who said his sexuality caused him to stop being a fan altogether. This time, Rowling's tweet felt a bit more effective. The fan responded, acknowledging Rowling's wisdom.
@jk_rowling amazing answer... Yes you are absolutely right. Such an inspiration!!!

Here's hoping that's the end of the tweets about Dumbledore being gay. Though, we hope Rowling herself never stops tweeting.
