Starbucks Just Made Some Major Menu Upgrades

Starbucks is becoming so much more than the place we go for a caffeine fix. Starting today, the coffee behemoth will begin serving smoothies, which will be available in three made-to-order flavors: Sweet Greens, Strawberry and Mango Carrot. The beverages are being released as part of Starbucks' Evolution Fresh collection, in partnership with Dannon. For $5.95 a pop, you can save yourself the effort of Yelping a nearby juice bar next time you're in the mood for a fruity drink. And, if that isn't enough to fill you up, the brand also announced two additions to its grab-n-go food selection: The Thai-Style Peanut Chicken Wrap and Edamame Hummus Wrap.  This rollout shows that Starbucks continues to be serious about expanding its offerings well beyond coffee — when it's not busy coming up with new Frappucino flavors. The company dropped "Coffee" from its logo back in 2011 and basically never looked back. We foresee the chain evolving into a one-stop shop where you can always find something suitable to eat or drink at any time of day — the twin-tailed mermaid has grand plans, y'all.
