Alexander Wang might be best known for dressing scores of cool kids in his (mostly black, often leather) creations, but over the past several seasons the designer has made a point to branch out. He's dipped into housewares, debuted a denim line, and even teamed up with H&M on an athletic-inspired capsule. Now, the designer's taking another suprising step toward domesticity with a brand new baby collection, Pop Sugar reports.   Wang has been dropping hints about the project this week on Instagram, first posting a snap of a faux pregnancy test on April Fools' (nice one!), followed a few days later with a photo of a baby-sized hospital bracelet. The caption, "Special delivery.... #ComingSoon," pretty much says it all.

If there's anyone who can make toddler clothes cool, it's Alexander Wang. This is the guy who's been dressing North West in bespoke baby wear practically since her birth (featuring adorable leather outfits dutifully captured by Kim Kardashian on Instagram). He even decked her out in a custom bomber jacket and embellished skirt to sit (and have a small fit) front row at his fall 2015 fashion show alongside his equally stylish niece, Aila, who's a budding style star in her own right. For the past several seasons, Aila has been spotted wearing the designer's custom pint-sized pieces before anyone else — not even the biggest celebrities can claim bragging rights to this kind of special treatmentBut, whereas miniature Wang collections have previously been restricted to famous offspring and family only, pretty soon kids everywhere will be able to get in on the action. Watch this space for more details, and keep your eyes peeled for a sure-to-be-adorable ad campaign (hopefully starring a certain pair of famous toddlers) very soon.
