What, you didn't know there was a Cruel Intentions musical? Okay, okay, we didn't either. But now that we do, we can't stop making up songs about making out with Ryan Phillippe.
It's been 16 years since Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, and Reese Witherspoon starred in everybody's favorite (if it isn't, we can't we friends anymore) sexy teen film, but that doesn't mean we don't remember every second of the drama (or that great soundtrack).
Cruel Intentions: The Completely Unauthorized Musical parody opened April 10 with Sarah sitting front row.
"We were babies when we made the film. I was 20! I celebrated my 21st birthday during filming," Sarah told People at the Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles, "It had to be some form of child abuse doing the things I did in that movie."
Sarah looked on as the cast recreated her infamous kissing scene with Selma Blair, and of course it gave the actress a few flashbacks:
"It's so crazy. It was such a flood of memories. I don't necessarily think of it as me," Sarah told People. "But then they started talking, and I could feel the words coming out of my mouth!"
Run, don't walk, to the Rockwell Table & Stage Cruel Intentions fans in Los Angeles: The musical is only showing through April.
Sarah shared the script and a short video on Instagram, enjoy!
