This Pitch Perfect 2 Clip Is An Ode To The ’90s

What's better than more aca-singing from the Pitch Perfect ladies? A '90s jams sing-off, of course. Last night, a few of the ladies introduced a brand new clip at the MTV Movie Awards. That's right, the Barden Bellas are back and hipper than ever. This time around, facing some new a capella groups, the group rewinds back to the '90s and gives us a thrilling rendition of some of the greatest hip-hop and R&B tunes.  The super group kicks off the battle with Montell Jordan's "This Is How We Do It." Then, true to epic form, the Bellas flow into the beloved Lauryn Hill's "That Thing." They could've stopped there and we would have been pleased, but they didn't (thank the aca gods). Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison" starts next, just before Fat Amy (Rebel Wilson) busts out A Tribe Called Quest's "Scenario," along with some sick dance moves to boot. It's all aca-awesome.  Unfortunately, the clip stops there but our excitement for the harmonious sequel has reached a new level. Take a look at the clip below.
Pitch Perfect 2 hits theaters May 15. Start warming up those vocal chords.
