This Hillary Clinton Joke Is The Best Part Of The 2016 Race (So Far)

Hillary Clinton isn't afraid to poke a little fun at herself as she runs for President, and it looks like she's already leading the pack of 2016 candidates when it comes to adorable website jokes. If you take a wrong turn during a visit to Clinton's campaign website, the 404 page includes a photo of the Clinton family posing with Donald Duck, clad in some very 1980s outfits.
"Oops, that link wasn't what it was quacked up to be," the page says, before suggesting you join the campaign's volunteer efforts.  This sort of self-deprecating move could be a part of Clinton's efforts to reach out to voters and present herself as more approachable. Or, it could be the start of a new political trend. Florida Senator Marco Rubio also got into the funny-campaign-site game this week. While Rubio launched his 2016 campaign Monday with some not-so-veiled references to Clinton as a "leader from yesterday," his 404 page follows Clinton's lead, and contains its own poke at the Illinois-born Democrat: The photo is of Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler getting sacked by a member of the Miami Dolphins.
For now, this competition is only a two-person race: Rubio's fellow Republican candidates Rand Paul and Ted Cruz haven't gotten in on the joke themselves. But, Cruz and Jeb Bush might wish for some more broken links — a gay couple owns JebBushForPresident.com and is using it to promote gay rights, and TedCruz.com says only "Support President Obama. Immigration Reform Now!"
