That first sunny, actually-warm week in April is truly something. The streets are packed, everyone's smiley and grateful to finally leave their bulky outerwear at home. Amber Heard was one of those coatless pedestrians seen basking in the beautiful weather yesterday. And, her outfit epitomized transitional dressing.
The actress was spotted strolling around SoHo, with nothing but a tailored blazer to keep her arms covered. In lieu of the springy maxi skirts we've come to expect on gorgeous days like these, Heard opted for a skirt-trouser hybrid. She belted her high-waisted, extra-wide-legged pants from Temperley London over a plain, crewneck T-shirt. Her sleek, black blazer added some definition to her torso, while a city-friendly crossbody kept her belongings in check as Amber indulged in some retail therapy. And, instead of piling on sweaters, Amber reserved the layering skills for her jewelry.
How flared can you go? seems to be the big pants question for Hollywood's finest these days. (Kate Bosworth gave us her take on wide hems just earlier this week.) Hey, our ankles aren't complaining about that extra spring breeze. See how you can copy Amber's look, below.
