Gunshots were reported and fighting broke out during an after-hours party at Monroeville Mall in Monroeville, Pennsylvania early this morning, WPXI reports. One person was reportedly injured in the melee, though the gunshots (thankfully) caused no bodily harm.
The incident occurred at Winghart's Whiskey & Burger Bar, a restaurant within the mall, at around 1 a.m. Though the mall itself was closed for the evening, some 500 to 1,000 revelers were at the restaurant for an event called the All White Affair, in which local college students donned all-white ensembles.
Here's the invite for the event.

Overcrowding is being blamed for setting off the fighting, which in turn led to gunshots being fired in the parking lot.
“I'm very disappointed in what happened last night,” party organizer Avery Anderson told Trib Live. “This is not what we're about. We're college students who just want to come out and party safely."
Safety has been an issue at the Pittsburgh mall, where George Romero's Dawn of the Dead was filmed, over the past year. A large brawl broke out in the mall in December 2014, while this February a teenager fired shots inside its Macy's store, injuring three people.
