While the rest of the world is buzzing excitedly about the Full House revival, two very key people claim to have been left completely out of the loop: the Olsen twins. “We just found out yesterday,” Mary-Kate said in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily that ran on Tuesday. “I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.”
According to the sisters, they had no idea that series might come back until John Stamos shared the news on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week. “I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it,” said Ashley. Mary-Kate admitted she was shocked she didn’t hear the news from her dear old Uncle Jesse first.
Truthfully, we find it a little hard to believe that the twins didn’t have even the tiniest of inklings the show might be making its way back to the airwaves. (Don’t they have someone who tells them that type of thing?) Then again, maybe they just weren't ready to talk about it yet: Back in the its original heyday, the show needed both sisters to play Michelle Tanner so it wouldn’t violate any child labor laws — thus the appeal of two. Clearly, that's no longer the case.
So, what happens if they do sign on — will they share the part? Or split it up so they have equal time to work on their fashion empire? Maybe they’ll duke things out on Celebrity Death Match. That, like a Full House revival, is definitely something we would tune in to see.
