The wait for the much-anticipated S’mores Frappuccino is
almost over! (Has anyone else been keeping a not-so-secret countdown?) The new drink debuts on Tuesday, and to reward us for our
unwavering patience, Starbucks is taking it to a whole new level of
chocolaty decadence.
Instead of sipping on your limited edition Frappuccino with
the typical green straw, you can slurp your next blended coffee drink
through a cookie. A straw-shaped cookie, that is.
According to Starbucks, the "rolled
sweet wafer biscuit lined with rich chocolate ganache serves as a perfect
complement" to the concoction. And, the icing on the cake
(or should we say the ganache inside the cookie?) is that the straws are
absolutely free.
Starbucks baristas will give you a cookie straw for no extra
charge with every Frappuccino purchase beginning April 28, while supplies last.
If one just isn’t enough to get through your drink, the straws are also available separately for 95 cents each. We're already preparing for a sugary overload tomorrow afternoon — and we’re going to try really hard not to
devour our straw before we get to the bottom.
