One Direction Admits Being “Angry” About Zayn Malik’s Exit

Shocker of shockers: The guys of One Direction weren't that amused by Zayn Malik's sudden departure from the band in March. The remaining four members spoke about it in last night's episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden.  "At first we were a little bit angry, obviously, and surprised, but I think we all kind of knew the vibe that Zayn was feeling," Liam Payne revealed in the band's first post-Zayn interview. "There were certain parts of this job that Zayn loved, but there were certain parts he didn't. And if you don't like your job you've got to follow your heart sometimes and go where you need to go. There's no arguing with that. Like I said, we were angry at first, but it was just a bit more disappointed." Despite Malik's recent Twitter feud with Louis Tomlinson (or "a bit of back and forth," as LT put it), Payne said that he and his bandmates "wish him the best of luck with whatever he gets up to and stuff. There's no hard feelings."   Tomlinson added that he and Malik had "resolved" their recent spat, explaining that he's never been one to bite his tongue. Niall Horan, meanwhile, was adamant that the group never considered abandoning One Direction altogether.  There you have it. Watch the interview below for the full scoop.
