Beyoncé and Jay Z don't just spend their money on extravagant purchases like dragon egg props. They also spread it around to make a powerful political statement.  Complex has captured a series of screenshots which show social activist and filmmaker Dream Hampton revealing via Twitter the A-list couple's role in providing financial support to Black Lives Matter protestors in Ferguson and Baltimore. The tweets have since been deleted, but Hampton stands by her statement that the musicians donated money. Hampton claims that Jay Z wired "tens of thousands in minutes" as bail money for Baltimore protestors. "When BLM [Black Lives Matter] needed infrastructure money for the many chapters that we're growing like beautiful dandelions, the Carters wrote a huge check," she added. Throughout this, the star couple has stayed mum about their generous donation and involvement in the movement. Meanwhile, Solange Knowles has debuted a new song, "Rise," which she revealed in a recent performance that she wrote for "Ferguson, for Baltimore." Clearly, the whole family is ready to take a stand.
