Every year, we eagerly await the list of CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award winners for reasons both benevolent and selfish. Of course, we're happy to see new designers get the recognition and career kick-start they deserve. But also, we know that from the time the winners are announced in November, it's a mere six months until we can shop their designs at J.Crew.
Today marks that glorious day, when the three winners debut their J.Crew collaborations. British-born footwear designer Paul Andrew delivers four styles of fringed block heels, pointy stilettos, and our favorite, a strappy sandal that's very femme fatale. Kudos to Andrew for not toning down his main line's colorful form of sex appeal for the collab.
Meanwhile, CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund runner-up Ryan Roche translates the hand-crafted look of her knitwear admirably for J.Crew, producing a mini-collection of dreamy, drapey knits in blush pink. We've got money on this sweater vest becoming the fashion girl It item of the summer.
Third up is Eva Fehren, who reworked her signature X-shaped rings and bracelets in less luxe materials for the collaboration — not that we're complaining, given the way more affordable prices. Ladies who like their jewlery dainty yet directional will appreciate her Triple-Dagger earrings, too.
Prices start at $58 for jewelry and top out at $598 for the super-sexy sandals shown above, and everything is available to pre-order now. Hop to it — when these designers are household names, you can say you knew 'em when.
