Breaking: 2 New Seasons Of Serial Coming Soon!

Many of us still feel the dull ache of Serial withdrawal each Thursday morning, as we yearn for those pingy first notes of the theme music, and the curious query of the Mail Kimp Girl. The bad news is that, as of this morning, your phone is still devoid of Serial. The good news is that it won't be for long! Yesterday, as Bustle first reported, the Serial team sent out an email blast announcing that they were working on both the second and third seasons of the hit podcast. "We hope it means we can reduce the amount of time between the end of season 2 and the beginning of season 3," they added. I MEAN, YEAH. We have no indication as to what the stories will be, only that, "they’re very different from season 1, but no less interesting to us." Season 2 is set to debut this fall followed by season 3 in spring of 2016. So, you're going to have to wait a little longer, but it sounds like it'll be worth it. Three months, people.
