Is there anything not to love about Chris Pratt? Yesterday, the proud papa shared a video of himself teaching his two-year-old son Jack to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and we may die from cute overload (you've been warned). Pratt pauses between each line so the little guy can squeakily repeat after him, and the duo does an adorable little handshake to cap it off.
The actor and his wife, Ana Faris, are clearly spending some time away from Hollywood — this whole scene takes place on the sprawling front porch of what looks to be a pretty picturesque getaway. Pratt has been sharing pictures of the place on his Instagram for the last two weeks, including a sweet one of Jack and his mom on the front porch swing. "Happy boy, happy wife, happy life, porch swing," he captioned the post.
But, at least at the moment, the couple doesn't have any intention of permanently relocating from Los Angeles. Ever the supportive hubby, Pratt recently told Entertainment Weekly the family won't be going anywhere until Faris's show, Moms, wraps up — though that doesn't mean he's not angling for a more "normal" childhood for his kiddo.
"Anna and I are both from Washington State. We both had pretty simple lives and upbringings," Pratt told the mag. "I want Jack to just be able to be like, ‘See ya buddy. Go outside. Come back later.'" Sounds like the Pratt-Faris clan have the formula for happiness pretty much nailed.
Meant to post this on #MemorialDay but I was in China and my phone wasn't working. I'm proud to be American. I'm blessed to get to travel the world! #IPledgeAllegiance
