This Red Carpet Designer Is Teaming With Lane Bryant

As one of the leaders of plus-size fashion, Lane Bryant has been making some strong strides to improve what's available to size 12+ women. From its attempts to empower through the polarizing #ImNoAngel campaign to the being the first plus-brand to offer designer collaborations, it's clear that risks are being taken in the name of style. And, these chances are paying off massively for its customers, namely with the announcement of Lane Bryant's next designer collection with Christian Siriano. Project Runway winner Siriano has consistently proved that he's more than a reality TV star, thanks to his flawless designs, packed runway shows, CFDA status, and celebrity clientele. Most recently, he created blogger Nicolette Mason's gorgeous wedding dress, which perhaps gives a hint on what we can expect in his first collaboration with the plus-focused retailer. “In my opinion, fashion should never be defined by size,” said Siriano. “I’m excited about this partnership with Lane Bryant because it allows me the opportunity to showcase my designs on the everyday woman and allow them the opportunity to feel as beautiful and fashionable as possible.” While we'll have to wait until spring 2016 to shop the line, we'll start fantasizing about what the final designs will look like now. If Mason's gown is any indicator, it's gonna be AMAZING.
