Cara Delevingne's Vogue profile might be causing an uproar, but the Paper Towns star seems to have moved on to bigger and better matters. On June 25, Delevingne briefly stopped the hearts of music lovers everywhere when she posted a video of her beat boxing alongside Justin Timberlake and Pharrell on Instagram.
Whether you preferred 'N Sync over Backstreet Boys in the '90s, it's difficult to deny Justin Timberlake's talent. Furthermore, his longtime friend Pharrell Williams — the two first collaborated on Timberlake's solo debut album Justified in 2002 — is one of the best producers today. If Delevingne truly is kicking off her music career, this is a great start; if the jam session was just for kicks, we wouldn't mind seeing some more of them.
However, considering Delevingne's caption, "#OTHERtone," there could be much more to come. Williams also posted the video using the same hashtag, and also tagged Apple music. It might be time to hold your breath. We'd be remiss not to note that the fourth person in the studio with the new crew is notable music supervisor Scott Vener (Entourage). Williams and Vener recently wrapped up the soundtrack for the hit indie film DOPE. Perhaps this is the break of a big announcement. Either way, we're ready for it!
Even Timberlake was impressed Delevingne's skills as Williams had to alert him to her many talents. "Oh yeah she beat boxes too," he said. Take a look at the promising video below.
