Sorry Donald Trump, but you're getting fired in more ways than one. The latest to fire back from all the Trump controversy is Dancing With The Stars dancer/choreographer Cheryl Burke.
Burke announced that she’s pulled out of co-hosting this year’s Miss USA pageant, which follows Univision’s decision to drop its partnership with Miss Universe, and withhold from airing the program on July 12. This all ties in with the presidential candidate’s controversial comments against Mexican immigrants, Variety reports.
“Effective today I have withdrawn from my duties with Miss USA," Burke said in a statement. "Although I will not be there in person, I wish all of the contestants much luck as I know how hard they’ve all been working over the last year to try and realize their dreams."
Her departure comes as no surprise, as she joins a long list of others who’ve been rubbed the wrong way by Trump more recently. Burke would have been a first-timer and was scheduled to co-host alongside MSNBC's Thomas Roberts.
Props to Burke for taking a stand.
