Merida From Brave Is Finally Getting Some Love

The Scots are coming to Storybrook. ABC has announced that Once Upon a Time will add Brave's Merida to its lineup of Disney princesses. The flame-haired warrior princess will be played by actress Amy Manson of Being Human and Atlantis fame, Hello Giggles reports. We guess Jessica Chastain didn't want to be type-cast? No matter. Based on the sneak peek below, Manson has the mane of red curls and mad archery skills required. Throw in a Scottish burr and a feisty spirit, and she's good to go. The next season of Once Upon a Time debuts September 27. That gives you plenty of time to source some haggis and fried Mars Bars for the viewing party. Watch the preview below.
