Out with the old and in with the new? Not quite. Shonda Rhimes has recast the male lead for her latest dishy drama, The Catch. In the pilot episode, the role of the thieving fiancé to star Mireille Enos's fraud investigator was played by newcomer Damon Dayoub. Now, The Hollywood Reporter writes that the role of Kieran Booth will be portrayed by TV vet Peter Krause. Audiences likely know Krause from his work on Six Feet Under and the recently canceled Parenthood. He also starred in Sports Night and Dirty Sexy Money, and is the longtime boyfriend of Lauren Graham. Can we get a Lorelai Gilmore cameo up in Shondaland? It's unclear why the exceedingly handsome Dayoub was replaced, but it's always nice to see Krause on-screen. The actor reportedly turned down the role at first, but signed on after another round of negotiations. Is Olivia Pope his agent? (The Hollywood Reporter) OPENER IMAGE: Everett Collection/REX USA.
