When it comes to grandmas, Grace Kelly is pretty much the gold standard. Now, we get to meet the royal icon's granddaughter, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, featured in her first-ever shoot, for the August issue of Harper's Bazaar. Besides that middle name, the 23-year-old Grimaldi, who's the oldest daughter of Prince Albert II of Monaco, also definitely resembles her famous grandmother. She's styled to look a whole lot like her, too.
The New York-based Grimaldi never met Kelly, who passed away in 1982, a full decade before her granddaughter was born. “One of my first and fondest memories involving my grandmother was watching High Society. It was the first time I realized we had a connection," Grimaldi told Harper's Bazaar. "I’m passionate about acting, singing, and dancing. I saw that in her in this movie. It was a real goose-bumps moment for me.”
This isn't the mag's first time discovering some very elegant progeny. In May, the glossy brought us Audrey Hepburn's chic granddaughter Emma Ferrer, the 20-year-old L.A.-bred, Florence-based art student who made her modeling debut with that high-fashion cover coup. Both Grimaldi and Ferrer were shot by a fellow fashion legend's offspring: Michael Avedon, the 24-year-old grandson of photographer Richard Avedon.
