Trump Calls Rosie O’Donnell Ugly — & Her Response Will Break Your Heart

Donald Trump began this week by saying that while he's not much of a debater, he has every intention of taking the high road during the first GOP standoff. Well, that didn't last long. When Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly asked Trump about his history of referring to women in derogatory ways, saying, “You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs,’ and ‘disgusting animals,’" the mogul quickly interjected with “only Rosie O’Donnell,” as the audience cheered. A little bit of background: In 2006, Trump brought up the actress during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "If I were running The View, I'd fire Rosie," he said. "I mean, I'd look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers, I'd say, 'Rosie, you're fired.' We're all a little chubby, but Rosie's just worse than most of us." Who knows why Trump continues to shame O'Donnell in this way? But, in any case, she heard him and quickly fired back a response on Twitter. What she said was pretty heartbreaking and speaks to the arrogance the presidential hopeful proudly displays at every opportunity.

For the record: We love you, Rosie. And we're absolutely sure that your kids don't give a crap what Donald Trump has to say — he's pretty hard to take seriously.
