Will Donald Trump ever learn?
If his latest comments are any indication, probably not. Referring to some of FOX commentator Megyn Kelly's questions during Thursday's GOP debate, Trump said, "There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever."
Say what? That's just downright gross. The suggestion that her questions were forceful because she was having her period is super offensive.
And, apparently conservative commentator Erick Erickson thought so too. Upon hearing these remarks, Erick repealed Trump's invitation to the RedState Gathering in Atlanta on Saturday.
"I just don't want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal," Erick wrote on the RedState website Friday night. "It just was wrong."
Trump's response? A tweet, of course.

.@redstate I miss you all, and thanks for all of your support. Political correctness is killing our country. "weakness."

To which Erick shed some light on Trump's supporters.
Emails from Trump supporters upset with me have called me “queer,” Megyn Kelly something awful, and the President the n-word.

Although it may seem like Erick is the better man here, Vox's Max Fisher reminds us that Erick has made some pretty gross statements of his own over the years.
Let’s not pretend for even 1/100th of one second that @EWErickson is any less the hateful sexist than is Donald Trump pic.twitter.com/jhJAPEddRA

Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive who delivered perhaps the most assertive turn in Thursday’s debate among the candidates trailing in the polls, expressed support for Kelly late Friday and posted:
Mr. Trump: There. Is. No. Excuse.
