Miley Cyrus covers Marie Clarie's September issue in a glamorous spread you have to see. Shot by Mark Seliger, her style and makeup are channeling iconic '60s it-girl looks from Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy. Don't sleep on the interview though, because Miley's got something to stay about Taylor Swift and her problem with "Bad Blood."
While Taylor got kudos for getting her massive girl squad together for the "Bad Blood" video, Miley was not a fan of the concept or the double standard it enforces. "I don't get the violence revenge thing. That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns," Miley told the magazine.
She's all about just being Miley. “I don’t really stress too much about being out there. There’s nothing left to catch me doing. You want to hack my e-mail so you can find my nude pictures? I’ll just fucking put them up.”
Miley's cover story is hooked, however, around her newly formed Happy Hippie foundation. She tells the magazine her own experiences with explaining her sexuality motivated her to focus on LGBT youth and their specific challenges. "Lately, I've been talking a lot about my being gender-fluid and gender-neutral. And some people snarl at that. They want to judge me. People need more conventional role models, I guess. But I just don't care to be that person," Miley said.
Miley's Marie Claire cover is on newsstands on August 18.
