Get ready for a classic Tom Hanks rom-com — of the animated variety. Pixar founder and Disney chief creative officer John Lasseter has revealed that Toy Story 4, coming to a theater near you in the summer of 2017, will be a love story between Woody and Bo Peep, CNBC reports. "At Pixar and at Disney, we only make sequels if we come up with a story that's as good or better than the original. That's our rule," Lasseter told press at Disney's D23 Expo last week, and in our minds, the romantic adventures of Hanks' animated cowboy character surely meets that criteria. Fans of the beloved animated films might remember that Woody's lucky love interest, Bo Peep, only appeared briefly in Toy Story 3 as part of a home move flashback, and while Woody confirmed that she was one of the toy friends the gang at Andy's house had lost over the years, what exactly happened to her remains a much-debated mystery. Here's hoping Toy Story 4 will finally tell us where she's been — and maybe, just maybe, show Woody romancing her on top of the Empire State Building. A girl can dream, right?
