They may be some of Britain's finest exports, but when it comes to space travel, the boys of One Direction are Team U.S.A. all the way. Look, they've even joined NASA!
Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan suit up as astronauts in their latest music video, "Drag Me Down." If you feel like something's missing, you're right: It's the band's first music video without the departed Zayn Malik. Can we get a moment of silence, please?
The video itself is pretty straightforward. The boys go through space training, Harry bonds with a robot, and eventually, they all don orange spacesuits and hop into a spaceshuttle. They're probably hovering somewhere around Mars by now.
One Direction fans seem to be digging it, but the Zayn mourning is strong. A couple of comments from YouTube:
"I miss Zayn... just imagining him in the vid... aaahh... but they've done a wonderful job... so it doesn't matter at all."
"Zayn is sorry now for living [sic] the band! It's weird that his [sic] not seen in the video with other boys. #MissYouZayn."
Aw. Feels. You can watch the video below. Is it just us old-timers, or is anyone else picking up strong Backstreet Boys "I Want It That Way" vibes?
