One Direction fans, are you sitting down? You should definitely be sitting down (or at least not near anything easily breakable). According to People, 1D is taking a hiatus starting in March of next year. That's right. Directioners, take a deep breath. Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan all agreed to take at least a year-long break to pursue separate projects. The group will continue to promote its fifth album, which is expected to be released later this year, until February. However, One Direction will not go on tour together to support the new release. This news comes five months after the departure of bandmate Zayn Malik in March. At least we'll always have memories of their stint on SNL to keep us warm at night.
