Candace Cameron Bure is gearing up for a full-on renaissance. In addition to her Netflix return in Fuller House set for release in 2016, ABC announced today that the actress and best-selling author will join The View as a co-host starting September 8. "I am honored to be a new addition to such a strong group of bright and opinionated women, and I look forward to sharing this exciting journey with viewers new and old," Cameron Bure said in a press release.
Former co-host Joy Behar is also rejoining the desk on the morning show. Behar appeared as a host from seasons 1 through 16 and is returning after a two-year hiatus. Behar promises to inject humor and politics back into the panel, saying she's "looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics, especially now that Hillary and the Donald are in the spotlight."

Rounding out the new hosts is the addition of Good Morning America Weekend anchor Paula Faris. Faris has also been an ABC News correspondent since 2012, so her inclusion on the team seems to indicate The View's interest in highlighting more news coverage on the daily talker.
ABC also announced that the new season will see regular contributions from former co-host Sherri Shepherd as well as Padma Lakshmi, Stacy London, Ana Navarro, and Molly Sims in the areas of politics, style, food, culture, beauty, and wellness.
The View resumes with new episodes featuring the new panel on Tuesady, September 8.
