Attention, Friends fans: What if everything you thought you knew about the ridiculously popular '90s sitcom was wrong? Maybe Monica and Chandler didn't end up married and living in Westchester. Maybe Joey didn't move to L.A. Maybe Ross and Rachel didn't decide to get together in the end. (Maybe they were never, ever "on a break," even.) What if, as one U.K.-based Friends fan posits, "It was all the meth-addled fantasy of a homeless Phoebe as she stared through the window of Central Perk"?
"Every kooky aside, every episode she made everything about her, every instance of how much of an outsider she was...it all makes sense," wrote Gareth Stranks, sharing his intriguing alternate ending for the beloved series on Twitter earlier this week.

Sure, it's fun to think about — and it would certainly give the lyrics to "Smelly Cat" a whole new meaning. But, we ask you: What does this mean for the man who modeled his entire life after the show? Whatever you do now, sir, just please don't take up meth. That never ends well. (The Independent)
