Taylor Swift knows how to give the people what they want. She's been teasing images and clips from her "Wildest Dreams" video on Instagram and Twitter for a week. The first glimpse showed zebras racing along the plains and a plane landing as the sun set. The second gave us a better look at that plane: Swift stands in front of it with Scott Eastwood. She shared the photo with lyrics from "Wildest Dreams. "
"Say you'll remember me. Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, babe."
Now, we finally get to see the whole thing. Swift just premiered her "Wildest Dreams" video during the MTV VMAs pre-show. It's every bit as dreamy as you'd imagine and Swift's hair and makeup have a distinct Elizabeth Taylor vibe. The video shows Swift and Eastwood playing a couple going through ups (steamy makeouts in bed) and downs (fights, him with another woman at a film premiere). Interestingly enough, Katy Perry channeled Elizabeth Taylor for Harper's Bazaar earlier this month.
"We just wanted to do something so wildly different than anything we've done before, and I hope people like it," Swift told Kelly Osbourne of her third collaboration with Joseph Kahn. She also donated all of the proceeds from the video to the African Parks Foundation of America. Watch the video below.
