White Supremacist Gives Nazi Salute After Murder Conviction

It took about two hours of deliberation for a jury to convict Frazier Glenn Miller Jr. of killing three people at Jewish sites in Kansas last year, The New York Times reports. Miller, a former Ku Klux Klan member, had already admitted to the murders in court. According to The Times, after Miller heard the guilty verdict, he said, “I think the fat lady has sung,” and gave a Nazi salute. Miller represented himself in court, where his racist, outlandish antics included writing “Diversity is a code word for white genocide!” on an easel and telling jurors, "Everything I did for our people, to secure the existence of our people and the future of white children.” On April 13, 2014, Miller shot a 69-year-old man and his 14-year-old grandson at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City. He then proceeded to drive to a Jewish assisted living center, where he killed his third victim, a 53-year-old woman. Ironically, although Miller said in court that he wanted “to kill Jews, not to kill people," his three victims were not Jewish. Jurors are expected to deliberate on whether Miller will receive the death penalty on Tuesday morning — watch this space for updates.
