Chrissy Teigen might have finally said something that got under our skin.
The model recently quipped that the rule in the household she shares with John Legend is: "No hot nannies, drivers, or maids." She added that it's a joke between the couple — but that she's serious about it, too.
“I do want to have kids one day," Teigen went on, "so it’s something that I have to think about. But the rule is no hot nannies. I trust John, but you never know with these men.”
She also joked that it was too late for her, since her assistant is something of a babe, though that's not necessarily a requirement for dudes to go off the monogamy rails. "These days, it doesn’t really matter what you look like — sometimes cabin fever just strikes and men do the do."
Okay — just so we're clear then: We still live in a world where women — even models — assume that when the loins call, men are often incapable of resisting the urge? And furthermore hot ladies are innately dangerous?
We know Teigen was probably more joking than not, but come on: This comment was quite regressive. It's 2015, not 1950. Let's keep the expectations high, shall we?
